As most of you know, I started off in the alt-country genre. And while my style has changed extensively over the past decade, the one thing that hasn't changed is that I continue to listen to a wide range of artists, and I continue to write my own songs.
My 2005 release, Scream, saw influences of Emmylou Harris, Mark Knofler, and Whiskeytown. Scream's 2007 live album followup, All-American University Tour, showed a more stripped down, organic, and folky side to rock taking much influence from CSNY and Gram Parsons. My most recent and upcoming release, Royal Redcoat Requiem, is brit-rock/60s record with sounds of Lennon/McCartney, the Byrds, and Wilco.
